Support our initiative to provide free breakfast for everyone who is struggling with the cost of living raises. You can v:olunteer on any day from Monday to Friday during breakfast hours of 8:30 to 10:30
Though it's serious and sad to see so many students have to use this, we are proud to support you all and make sure we provide exactly what students are needing. As we keep growing numbers with each morning we want to make sure we can always work at full capacity and with that comes volunteers.
Volunteering at the breakfast club is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the student community by way of giving back. It’s an amazing CV booster and has left everyone who has volunteered over the past week in extremely high spirits after the end of their shift.
We’ve been distributing the volunteering hours amongst our full-time staff and exec, including the non-sabbaticals but now we’d like to open this opportunity up to the rest of the student body. So if you’d like to support us, please reach out!

We are looking for those interested in volunteering at our Campus Pantry that will run Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings during semester.
From 05 Mar 2023
Join our #LitterTaskforce. The huge strides we need to create the clean campus we all want to see, will be made up of small individual steps from an army of volunteers all coming together.
We want to empower everyone to collect litter safely and effectively, create a better environment on our doorstep and inspire change within our community.
If you want to join us in our mission or highlight your existing efforts, then register as a #LitterTaskforce volunteer today. Once you register, we will invite you for an information session and you can join our wonderful volunteering team.
DUSA Volunteers 25/26
Help tackle food poverty on campus by supporting our student-led pantry. You’ll play a key role in stocking shelves, welcoming students, and ensuring those in need can access free groceries. In the past six months, our pantry has provided over six thousand products to students — and with your help, we can do even more.
Join the FoodStop team and help reduce food waste while supporting fellow students. You’ll be based at our stall in the DUSA building on the main campus or at Ninewells, handing out surplus food products to anyone who needs them. It’s a friendly, fast-paced role where you’ll make an immediate difference, turning excess into opportunity.
Get your hands in the soil, learn new gardening skills, and help grow fresh produce for students. Our Community Garden is a place to connect with others, enjoy the outdoors, and make a positive impact on sustainability while promoting wellbeing.
Take pride in your university environment by joining our Campus Cleanup team. You’ll help keep our campus green and litter-free, work alongside like-minded students, and play your part in creating a cleaner, more welcoming space for everyone.
