What can I submit?
The Student Voice Hub system is quite simple; you submit an idea or your feedback, and it will be published on here to be looked at by other students and DUSA. If you agree with the feedback, upvote it!
The
Student Representative Council (SRC) is a great opportunity for students to bring forward ideas on how to solve some of the big issues affecting students at the University of Dundee, alongside providing general feedback to DUSA too. Your ideas and your feedback may be something we can work with SRC Councillors on and decide if a motion creation is necessary. If yes, it will be discussed at the SRC. If it’s passed at SRC, Councillors will work on implementing it and we will feed back to students on what has happened.
DUSA is a registered Scottish charity, and therefore there are things it can’t get involved in. The work it carries out has to benefit students as students. The DUSA Executive will be able to tell you more about what we can and cannot do.You can find out more about the Executive here:https://www.dusa.co.uk/student-executive
Want to submit a motion? What are they?
Motions are a formal policy submission to the SRC. It is up to the Council to discuss and then vote on whether to pass a motion or not.
If you would like clarification around any of the information provided, please contact your Vice-President of Representation vpr@dusa.co.uk, or the SRC Chair at src.chairperson@dundee.ac.uk
