We are Dundee University's Musical Theatre Society! :]
OpSoc has been running for over 60 years, having started in 1963. We welcome anyone to come join, whether that be as part of our production team or performing within our final show as either a member of our ensemble or main cast. There are many activities to get involved in such as prop design, makeup and costume, acting, singing dancing, and so much more!
The comittee within this past year has held goofy weekly socials and fun events so there are many oppotunities to get to know some fellow nerdy musical theatre weirdos and make new friends.
Nearing the middle of semester 2 is typically when we hold our yearly main show. Most of the rehearsals are targeted towards learning and enhancing your skills for these performances. You don't need to have had any previous experience to join us, we all learn along the way!
Our weekly rehearsals are set on Mondays 7pm in Bonar hall.
