Neuro-Psych of Women Dundee (NoW Dundee) was founded in 2025

Neuro-psych of Women (NoW) is dedicated to improving education surrounding women’s issues in neuroscience and psychology. Our mission includes spreading awareness of recent female research and fostering discussions around these topics. In addition, we address how neuroscience and psychology research can overlook and misinterpret women’s data, and aim to explore the consequences of these problems in research and clinical practice.

NoW is relevant to a range of subjects such as bioscience, medicine, dentistry and public health, creating a space to bring together students of all disciplines. Events will be accessible to students coming from any discipline and all will be warmly encouraged to join. We also use our social media platforms to raise awareness of current students' work in the relevant field, discuss women's issues and celebrate International Women's Day.
